Last night the U.S. House of Representatives gave final approval to the healthcare reform bill that passed in the Senate on Christmas Eve. The bill represents a far-reaching overhaul of the nation's health care system. There will likely be additional changes to the bill as part of the reconciliation process. We will attempt to keep our clients informed regarding continuing developments in this area and the impacts we foresee for everyone involved in our healthcare system. As part of our on-going effort to keep our clients informed on this historic development, we have posted on our website an analysis of the bill done by the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Special Alert from the American Medical Association explaining why the AMA supports healthcare reform.
