Practicing medicine is a constant juggling act between professional and personal responsibilities, and the struggle to balance these concerns can place an added strain on women physicians. On Wednesday, May 5th, the Connecticut State Medical Society will hold its 2nd annual Professional Development Conference for Women in Medicine to address such issues. Edith Kallas of Whatley Drake & Kallas will participate in the event by leading a discussion on the topic of negotiating skills for career advancement. The conference, which lasts from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM will be held in New Haven Connecticut. Those interested in attending may visit the Connecticut State Medical Society website for more information.
